Ever fret about Islamic terrorism? The nightmare scenario of Jihadists hitting your local shopping mall…?

Well, fret no more -  the War On Terror is over! That’s right, no more need to fear terrorism,  or Islamic terrorism, or Islamism or even Jihadists.

How can this be, you may be wondering?

Answer: Because Obama says so.

Yep, the Chief Dhimmi has decided that the very terms ‘Jihadists’ and ‘global war’ are now redundant. The West is not fighting terror, you see. No, no. Rather, America is just having a bit of a bicker with Al Queda.

From the Washington Times:

It’s official. The U.S. is no longer engaged in a “war on terrorism.” Neither is it fighting “jihadists” or in a “global war.”
President Obama’s top homeland security and counterterrorism official took all three terms off the table of acceptable words inside the White House during a speech Thursday at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.
“The President does not describe this as a ‘war on terrorism,’” said John Brennan, head of the White House homeland security office, who outlined a “new way of seeing” the fight against terrorism.
The only terminology that Mr. Brennan said the administration is using is that the U.S. is “at war with al Qaeda.”
“We are at war with al Qaeda,” he said. “We are at war with its violent extremist allies who seek to carry on al Qaeda’s murderous agenda.”

Sorry…? What’s that you say…? Something about Islamic terrorism still being, well, kinda global….?

You’re right. There are massive problems in Israel, Chechnya, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, and various others.

But remember: Obama knows best.

Here’s another question: has Obama sent a congratulatory letter to Mad Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has just been inaugurated?

German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, says she won’t be – but what about Obama?

After all, he’s clearly not worried about the feelings of Iranians. Who cares if a few million have been risking their lives to protest that genocidal pipsqueak’s election victory?

So what if thirty died as a result of voicing their opinions?

Or that some three thousand were slung into jail?

It appears that those silly old Iranians don’t really know what they’re talking about. As White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said on Tuesday, when asked directly:

‘Ahmadinejad is the elected president of Iran.’

Though he did try to wriggle his way out of this a few days later, declaring:

“I need to correct a little bit of what I said yesterday. I denoted that Mr. Ahmadinejad was the elected leader of Iran. I would say it’s not for me to pass judgment on. He’s been inaugurated, that’s a fact.

But what about the ongoing and ghastly problems in Iran? From Ron Mossad:

Seven lawyers in Tabriz and Mashhad who had been representing young Iranians detained in post-presidential election protests have been killed by the Iranian authorities in recent days, according to sources in Iran.

Three of them then died from injuries suffered during their detention. They were so badly beaten that their families could barely recognize their faces, this reporter was told.
The other two – prominent figures in the local community – were executed, having been sentenced to death on trumped-up charges of drug possession, the sources said.

In similar cases in Mashhad, in eastern Iran, two more lawyers were hanged on fabricated charges of drug trafficking, the sources said. Both were known to have been representing young students detained by the Iranian authorities.
Unbelievable. And it follows on the heels of the Iranians shutting down the press…

A press organization in Teheran was shut down on Wednesday night, apparently by Iranian authorities. According to a Reuters report, armed men stormed the offices of the Association of Iranian Journalists, and then closed them down.

The International Federation of Journalists was quoted in the report as condemning the raid, as well as calling for the Islamic republic to release over 40 journalists currently held in prison.

But look, let’s be reasonable about this. Obama only has so many hours in his day. He can’t  get busy condemning Iran – ’cause he’s found another excuse to bash Israel instead.

This week, the Obama administration is protesting the legal eviction of illegal Arab squatters in East Jerusalem.
From the Unity Coalition For Israel:

Washington issued another diplomatic protest over Israeli conduct in East Jerusalem on Monday, its second in as many weeks.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman summoned Michael Oren, Israel`s ambassador to Washington, to tell him that the United States views Sunday`s eviction of two Arab families from homes in East Jerusalem`s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood as a “provocative” and “unacceptable” act.

Oren responded by saying that the buildings in question have been Jewish-owned since before Israel`s founding, and that a court ordered the families` evictions because they had violated the terms of their leases.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also denounced the evictions publicly on Monday, terming them “deeply regrettable” during a joint press conference in Washington with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.

Hmmm…. Condemning Israel while with the Jordanian Foreign Minister.   Nice touch…

Strangely, the Obama administration doesn’t protest the fact that Jews are banned from living in Jordan, full stop.

Double standard?

Oh purleeease – Obama redefines the term.

And what happened to his avowed policy of ‘non interference’…?

Meanwhile, when he’s not bashing Israel for implementing Israeli laws, Obama’s been busy arranging for Khalid Sheik Mohammed, who was one of those responsible for 9/11, to arrive in America for trial.

9/11, of course, necessitated the War On Terror, which apparently now isn’t a War On Terror at all…

Some Americans are less than enthusiastic over the prospect of Mohammed’s presence. As Astute Blogger reports:

Military Families United has just learned that the President is planning to bring Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and his co-conspirators to Alexandria, Virginia for trial. This decision is not only dangerous but risks the lives of the more than 12,000 people who live and work within a mile of the courthouse and jail, and it makes our nation’s capital ground zero for the next terrorist attack.

These terrorists have already implemented an attack that killed nearly 3,000 innocent people in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. It defies logic to relocate these terrorists a mere five miles from the Pentagon, a location where they have already hit.

We cannot allow this happen!

It’s not too late to change the President’s mind.

Another Obama initiative proving unpopular, is his awarding Mary Robinson the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.

The editor-in-chief of The New Republic, Marty Peretz, has defended Obama many times, but he’s speaking out on this issue:

“Obama may not himself have made the decision to honor the contemptible Mary Robinson, arguably a real bigot, with the Medal of Freedom. But, then, there is someone in his entourage who is leading him astray, gravely astray. And that someone has it in for Israel and for American Jews, too. The fact is that there is only so much that can be explained.

Take a look at the Medal of Freedom winners. There are many mediocre men and women on the list. But, overall, you will brim with pride, as the clichéd phrase puts it. Robinson had a commendable career as president of Ireland, mostly filled with symbolics, but important symbolics. It has been downhill ever since, a good deal of it in the gutter of anti-semitism.

“…The administration will try to put a big smile on its face about the president honoring Mary Robinson. I`d bet, however, that there`s been a lot of shouting around the White House…and a lot of blame. Obama will smile through it all. But inside he`ll be seething. At his staff and at those of us who don`t just shut up.”

Finally, let’s just review how the Great Dhimmi’s Middle Eastern policy is going, shall we…?

Let’s see now…  His olive branch to Iran has been flung back in his face. His loving tribute to Islam has done nothing to lessen Muslim loathing of America.

His hypocritical demands that Israel cleanse Judea and Samaria of Jews, and his attempts to stop Israelis building anything in the Israeli capital, have infuriated Israelis and also caused alarm in the minds of some American Jews.

Jordan has flat out refused any peaceful signals towards Israel. Oh, and terrorist group Fatah – no doubt feeling empowered by Obama’s support for its Judenfrei ambitions – has this week been enjoying a conference dedicated to discussing the destruction of the Jewish state.

Far from being the leader to finally achieve peace in the region, Obama’s efforts thus far can be described in two words:

Epic Fail.
