Not content with issuing fatwas, rigging human beings up with explosives, and throwing mass temper tantrums when cartoons of Mohammed appear, some Muslims are now bringing the war against free speech into cyberspace.
Lately, a number of Jewish, and pro Israel sites have found themselves the victims of Jihad online. In other words, they’ve been hacked by Muslims who don’t like what they’ve got to say. In fact, over the past seven months, no less than 10,000 Israeli sites have been attacked in this way.
The most recent victim? Women In Green – which this morning was hacked into for the fourth time in eight weeks. Muslim symbols, pro Islamic graffiti and skulls have appeared all over the Hebrew language site.
It’s thought that the hackers are based in Turkey. Among other things they have put up on the site are:
‘There is no god but Allah’
The Muslim hackers also uploaded an image of a woman covered in Islamic symbols, alongside skulls. Various pro Mohammed slogans have also been uploaded.
Nadia Matar, of Women In Green, is taking it in her stride though, and has told Arutz-7:
“We are working to ensure that this does not recur, but the bright side is that our message is apparently very infuriating to the enemy…”
Most of the sites are small ones, says Gary Warner, Director of Research in Computer Forensics at Alabama University.
Apparently some Muslims will only be content when the entire world is bowing before Allah and facing Mecca.

Well, Dutch websites have also been defaced (new word I have learnt these days
) with the image of Wilders "photoshopped" to look like a monkey and some islamic legend about "continuing the fight against those who critisize the only true religion, Islam".
Believing freedom of expression…

I can believe that. Wilders is probably the most high profile and popular critic and opponent of Islam there is. In the UK, Douglas Murray is another one – and at a recent debate with Islamists, he had to turn up with his own security guards!
It's getting absurd – more absurd by the day!
