Hamas – the Islamist, insane, terrorist group that runs Gaza – is trying to stop Palestinian Arab children learning about the Holocaust in UN schools.
In fact, the head of the Hamas education committee, Abdul Rahman el-Jamal, recently took a break from teaching kids how to make bombs, in order to claim: ‘The Holocaust was a big lie.’
Crikey. If he’s the head of education, then Palestinian Arab children don’t have a hope in hell.
The UN, which controls most Gazan schools, has been asking local groups whether the Holocaust should be taught or not. (Why is the UN bothering to ask??? Why doesn’t it just teach the facts?)
A spokesman for the UN said that no final decision on this year’s curriculum had yet been made. Some 200,000 children are taught in schools run through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
